There’s still some time before May, but if you use WhatsApp, and have an iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, or an iPhone 6 Plus, you might want to start thinking about replacing your phone soon.
Because, as of May 5th 2025, WhatsApp will no longer support these devices, or more importantly, the app will no longer work.
And also, from May this year, the app will no longer work on iOS versions older than 15.1.
So even if you own a compatible iPhone, but have an out-of-date Operating System (OS), make sure you update the OS to the latest, so you can continue to use WhatsApp.
