Setting the trend…
When Steve Jobs announced the first iPhone that combined the traditional Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) with a phone and instant email and web access, it was a big turning point in the Smartphone industry; a change that forced all other manufacturers to follow suit or get left behind.
Blackberry, who were untouchable at the time, have been trying to play catchup ever since, and who knows how much longer they can continue for. You might have not seen a Blackberry for a while, but yes, they’re still being made.
But as we the consumers have become so used to these Smartphones, it’s been challenging for manufacturers to stay ahead of the curve and shock us with new releases; something that’ll encourages us to upgrade from our existing model.
Because, apart from a bigger and crisper screen and a quicker processor, the Smartphones released of late haven’t exactly set the world on fire have they? So Apple have focused on an area they believe that can be improved on…
And that is the camera.
If you’re into photography and love your selfies, the iPhone 11 could be the phone for you.
This newest model comes in three guises; the iPhone 11, 11 Pro and the 11 Pro Max. It has a dual lens or if you want to have access to all the new widgets, you can for the Pro model with a triple lens. Yep that’s not a typo; it comes with three lenses.
Personally, I’m still OK with my single lens iPhone 7, so Apple will need to come up with something a bit juicier to get me thinking about upgrading.
