With technology, sometimes you’re forced into a situation where you’re left with no choice but to upgrade.
In a recent article, I wrote about needing to upgrade my iPad. Because of its age, I was no longer able to install new apps on the existing model.
And if you have Windows 7 on your machine, there’s a very good reason why you should think about upgrading very soon…
Windows 7 I’d say is one of the most stable of Microsoft’s Operating Systems, but all good things come to an end.
Because, as from Jan 14th 2020, Microsoft will officially pull the plug on supporting this product. So what does this mean to you?
Well, if you have a PC with Windows 7, it means that you’ll no longer be protected against new potential threats.
You’ll have noticed that when you shut down your computer, sometimes it’ll install updates, or more specifically, security updates. This is what you’ll miss from January if you continue to use Windows 7. So what can you do to stay safe?…
You have two options:
1) Depending on the specification of your computer, you could upgrade your Operating System to Windows 10.
2) The other option is to replace your machine with a new one that’ll come pre-installed with Windows 10.
