You can have Biden or Trump, but you can’t have both. And at the time of writing this email, Biden looks on course to be the next US President.
You can either go for a Diesel or Petrol fuelled car, but not both.
And the same goes for an Apple or Android Smartphone.
But when people ask me the common question – “Shall I go for a laptop or desktop?”, you really can have both… because if you opted in the past to go for a laptop, but in hindsight, wished you’d gone for a desktop (which is a screen and a separate box), well you can easily turn your laptop into a desktop.
All you need to do is get an external screen, keyboard and mouse, and hey presto, you have yourself a desktop setup.
In regards to the monitor connections, if your screen has a HDMI port for example, you simply need to get yourself a HDMI to HDMI, or Display Port to HDMI or VGA to HDMI converter; it really depends on the type of video port you have on your laptop.
If you like the sound of converting your laptop into a desktop setup, but you’re unsure on which adapters to get, just get in touch and we’ll help you out.
